Feature on Hope Radio....

We were so thrilled when Ian Henery, star DJ for Hope Radio, asked us to appear on his show to talk about all things vegan! 
Hope radio is an emergency Covid-19 broadcaster that provides FM broadcasting for everyone within the Birmingham and West Midlands area. It has been and continues to be a great source of comfort for a community that may have found themselves isolated by the current pandemic. Featuring wonderful music and poetry, they frequently have special guests on to talk about their specialist fields, or upcoming community projects. So, we were over the moon when we were asked to be one of these guests! Then we had to wrack our brains and decide on songs and poems to feature during the show. We finally managed to settle on a decision and the rest it history! 
During the show we discuss veganism and what prompted the birth of Soy Oi, as well as our upcoming projects and events. You will be able to find out more information about our most recent collaboration with Red Bucket Projects, where we are asking people to become the voice of animals, through poetry. We also talk more about our vegan fayre due to take place in July 2021, so if you are interested in attending or trading, be sure to listen in. There is truly something for everyone not to mention some amazing tunes and beautfiful poetry!
